Anti-Bullying Program

Our anti-bullying program is the most successful bully busting program available. Our program has reduced bullying in local schools by as much as 70% and is our most requested school program. Our bully busting works because we utilize a 4 step approach in conjunction with the organization hosting the program. Recognize Bully

Recognizing a Bully
We teach kids how to identify a bully. It's shocking how many kids will tell you that the solution to being bullied is to attack the bully. However, attacking a bully makes you a bully in the process and the solution to bullying is not bullying back. By recognizing the correct behaviors students can make better decisions when handling a bully.

The 5 Steps to Beating a Bully
Handling a bully encounter is a core of our program. We teach kids the 5 steps to beating a bully in an easy to understand ready to use format. The 5 steps help kids responsibly resolve conflict without tattling or losing cool points with their peers.
1 - Ignore
2 - "I or Why"
3 - Tell an Adult
4 - Walk or run away
5 - Use your martial arts as a means to protect yourself.

Being a Bully Becomes "Uncool"
Bullies choose to bully as a method of establishing their self worth. Through creative use of props and clever language we reduce the value of being a bully to an unwanted level because when it isn't cool no one wants to do it. If a bully doesn't believe those behaviors will increase their self worth, but rather decrease their value the bullying behavior is less likely to present itself.

Blitz
Our program is in an interactive blitz format. We hit the kids with our message 4+ times over a 2 week period to keep the message loud and clear. Our edutainment style assembly grabs their attention, our bully posters go on loan to the school, we have a parent education sheet to assist parents in talking with their children about bullies and the school counselors and teachers follow up at the classroom level. It's aggressive and it works.

Results
Our classroom and school wide Bully Busters are our most requested community program. Schools all over Charlotte contact us each year to bring in our anti-bullying team because our program works! Schools have reported drops in bullying by as much as 70%.
