"No man stands so straight as when he bends to help another."
Community service is part of our Black Belt attitude and leadership skill development program. Every Black Belt and future Black Belt is expected to participate in regular community service projects. In only a few short years Leadership Martial Arts has set a new standard for Martial Arts schools everywhere demonstrating exemplary participation in a variety of community based projects. A special thank you to all of the families that have been a part of this tremendous opportunity to serve in so many special ways.
Fundraising
In just 4 years we have raised over $26,000 for our community! Our kick-a-thons and summer special programs have raised money to benefit the Levine Children's Hospital and our local schools. This money has gone towards helping sick children battling cancer, purchasing books for schools, classroom supplies and literacy programs. Acts of Kindness
We are a Black Belt school and it shows. We donate backpacks of school supplies each year, host free community events and even held an acts of kindness drive. We strive to lead by example and demonstrate our commitment to the community at every opportunity. Bully Busters
Our classroom and school wide Bully Busters are our most requested community program. Schools all over Charlotte contact us each year to bring in our anti-bullying team because our program works! Schools have reported drops in bullying by as much as 70%. If you would like more information on our Bully Buster program please visit our Bully Buster page.
